Birthdays

Q. How many birthdays can you have on one day in the same family? A. Three! Andy, myself and sister-in-law Chelsea. Our birthdays are all on the 7th! While we were at Claim Jumpers celebrating Jeremy, Gitah surprised us with birthday treats. We were all very surprised! We had no idea she had told our waitress. Thank you Gitah!
Here's to another great year!

Graduation!

My brother Jeremy graduated from college! He was very excited. We went to Claim Jumpers to celebrate. Jer ordered a piece of cake. It was the largest cake I've seen. It was six full layers covered in fudge and nuts. Congrats Jer!!!!

AWANA's Award Night

Halli was able to do AWANA's this year at church. She was not very excited about it. But we kept on going hoping that she would love to go. I wouldn't say that she LOVED it, but she did finally like going. She made new friends and memorized a lot of verses. It makes me so happy that she is learning God's word at such a young age.

Halli got to help hold the flag during the opening cermony. She was very proud of herself.

Halli earned her 1st year Cubbie Bear. She will get to pin that on her vest.
The badges she has on her vest she earned for memorizing her verses and having perfect attendance for church and Cubbies.

Halli also earned an extra award. Out of 41 kids, 21 earned this award. Each week you had to do an extra activity and review verses. I think it was more work for me than her. :)
We are very proud of her!!!!

Mother's Day Tea

Halli's pre-school has a Mother's Day Tea every year. I always look forward to it. Halli keeps the songs they will be singing a big secret. She loves it that I sit and front so she can see me. She doesn't take her eyes off of me. :) I am such a proud mommy watching my little girl sing to me.
What a beautiful smile.

Happy 1st Birthday Kylie!

Our niece Kylie is now 1yrs old. I can't believe it has been a year.

Kylie loved her cake. She didn't make too much of mess.

It's always so cute to see them eat their first piece of cake.

Are they going to dig in and eat a ton or just pick at it and not make a mess?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLIE!

Happy Easter

Halli looking so cute Easter morning. She was so excited to see what the Easter Bunny left her. It's always hard not to eat all the candy before church. This year Halli was more particular about her dress. She wanted to make sure it "twirled". She is really into dresses right now. I think she could wear one everyday. I know this summer we will see a lot of dresses. She does prefer them to be pink and to twirl though. Such a girl.

CHOCOLATE!!!!!!

Someone is very excited about getting their chocolate bunny!
Hal had been talking about getting a bunny for at least two weeks. I told her she had to wait to see what she got for Easter. She enjoyed every bite.

Easter

The kids had so much fun hunting eggs. It happened to be great weather that day. We had our egg hunt on a Saturday. On Sunday it was raining and cold. God smiled on us Saturday. :)

Washing

Halli likes to wash different things in the bathroom sink. You never know what she is going to wash. This time she had told dad that she was going to wash her feet. He didn't think too much about it until he realized how is she going to do that? I went and checked on her and this is what I found. A sink full of water with bubbles, bubbles on her head and pants rolled up and wet feet.
She would take the bubbles and wash her feet. Washing her hair was a bonus. I couldn't resist taking pictures then getting her cleaned up. At least I know she has clean feet. :)
