The Cat in the Hat

Halli had so much fun meeting the Cat in the Hat. She got to listen to a story then have her picture taken. Afterwards Halli and spent some time at the mall. We went to the stores Hal wanted to and then went to Starbucks and had a snack. It was a nice time.

Halli's Story

I was looking at our blog. On the side I've posted our journey to Hope. I thought that maybe I should write about Halli. She has her own amazing story. So, I'm hoping that sometime soon I can remember it all and post it.

We haven't told Halli all of her story. She knows that she is adopted and has asked why B. gave her away. Even though we haven't talked about it much, she still asked "the" question. The answer I gave her at the time satisfied her.

I do plan on making books for each of the girls with their story. I feel it is important that they know where they came from and how they became part of our family. I know has they get older they will have more questions. So hopefully their books will be able to answer some of those questions.

So, be looking for the posting of Halli's story.

My Favorite Things

One of my friends posted this in her blog. It sounds like fun, so I'm going to give it a try. All I have to do is put together a box of my favorite things and send it someone and that someone will send a box of her favorite things to me. Sounds easy and fun. I know that my box will definately have some chocolate in it. You all know how much I love chocolate!
