What to do

Well, I didn't think this would really happen. Little Hope's birthfather would like to come for a visit. We really don't know much about him. Ok, we know nothing about him except his first name. Hope's birthmom told him that she would let us know and she gave us his e-mail. We are still deciding on what to do.

I really never thought about him wanting to visit. At first he didn't even want to belive that Hope was his. I can only imagine how he felt being only 18 and going off to college and to find out that there is a baby. He wasn't there for the pregnacy or birth. I have one picture of him.

With adoption you mostly only hear about the birthmom and having a realtionship with her. I have to confess that is what I have thought and cared about. I've never really thought about the birthfather. Now that we have his e-mail address, it is up to us. We are praying about it. I'm not sure why I am hesitating. But I am.

Anyone have thoughts about birthfathers?

Six Months

Hope's 6 month picture. I'm a little late in posting this, but I don't use my scanner very much. Isn't she the cutest thing ever! You can't really see how blue her eyes really are. Hope is being dedicated at our church on Mother's Day. I'm thinking of using this picture during the service. The church wants two pictures to show while we are on stage. I'll probably use this one and then a picture of me, Hope and Hope's birthmom together. I plan on talking about Hope's bm. Without her we would not have Hope. She deserves to be mentioned on Mother's day and during Hope's dedication. I'm praying that I will get through it with out crying. lol

Hope

I love taking Hope's picture outside. I can't wait for summer to get here. I see lots of time outside and lots of pictures. As you can see Hope really likes her tongue. She always has her tongue out and likes to curl up the end. Who knows why. It's kind of cute though. I love this girl!!
I think she needs a bow. I see all these cute bows on other blogs but don't know where they get them and I also don't won't to spend a fortune on them! I keep saying I need to make my own. Maybe in my sparetime. lol!!! She still looks cute though.

Eggs

Halli LOVES coloring eggs. She did so good this year. She put the eggs in the cups by herself and took them out by herself. She decided which egg got what color. Some egss got more than one color. It was cute to see her decide which egg goes where and how long it should stay.

I can't believe how fast she is growing up. Each year she does more and more by herself.This was the first year she only wanted to do eggs. She didn't want to help with the cookies. I was very surprised.
