100th post!

I can't believe this is my 100th post. Thought I would post some recent pictures of the girls. They are just toooo cute!!!!

St.Patrick's Day at school. She wanted the shamrock on her forehead.

Hope after her bath. She's a big girl now sitting up. :)

Andy's grandma 100th birthday. She looks amazing. She is still doing really good!

Look at those glasses. She is ready for the sun!

Hope and Cereal

Last month Hope finally got to eat cereal. She wasn't too sure of it.
At first she just wanted to smile at us. Then she realized I was putting something in her mouth.

Then she didn't want me to stop!

Sister even wanted to help. Hope is now eating well. We've added fruit. For the most part, she likes her food.

1st time having bananas. They were very messy!

Favorite Things Package!

I am sooooooo late in posting this. I received my package from my new friend in Utah. I love everything! I was so excited to come home and see a package sitting on my doorstep. I opened it up fast! I did remember to take pictures. This is the box, which Anna had to check out.

Inside the box where these lovely gift bags. (I love gift bags!)

Look at the yummy chips and cheese. I have to admit that it only took me three days to eat the chips and cheese. Once you sit down to watch a movie, before you know it the snack is gone. Which reminds me, she also sent me movie money. We enjoyed watching Fireproof that night.

She also sent me chocolate. You all know how much I love chocolate. Halli did find the chocolate before I could hide it. They are now one of her favorite things too. :) Also included was Warm Vanilla Sugar hand soap. How did she know that is what I have in my bathroom? :) One more thing is the bath wash. Can't wait to use it.

I had never done a swap before. It was a lot of fun! The next one will be in April. Click on the button below if you would like to do it too. It fills up fast, so be watching for it.

Easy Bake Oven

Halli had gotten an Easy Bake oven for Christmas. We finally had time to use it. Who knew that it takes 15 minutes to pre-heat, 15 minutes to cook and 10 minutes to cool?
That is a long time for a 5 yr old to wait for a little cake.

Halli enjoyed spreading the frosting. But her favorite part was the sprinkles!
What kid doesn't love sprinkles?

It was a lot of hard work to frost your own cake and decorate it. Maybe she'll appreciate her next birthday cake a little more. :)

Here is the vanilla cake. Halli's favorite!

Here is the chocolate one. Just for mom.

She really enjoyed having her own cake. There is nothing like the taste of cake cooked by a lightbulb. Our next project are brownies and sugar cookies. I wonder if they will have the same interesting texture?

Look at me mom!!!!

It was time to get the jumperoo out. Hope only wants to sit up and since she can't do it by herself yet, the jumperoo sounded good. Hope wasn't too sure of it.
Halli thought she needed to help Hope out. She helped bounce her around.

After a few minutes, we had BIG smiles. Hope loves it!!!!!
